日本与韩国科学家发现了一种以前未知的铀同位素——铀-241，其原子序数为92，质量为241，半衰期可能只有40分钟，这是自1979年以来科学家首次发现富含中子的铀同位素。研究小组指出，其研究方法可用来进一步了解其他重元素的同位素，也有望发现新同位素。相关研究刊发于最新一期《物理评论快报》杂志。
